BMW is undergoing significant updates. After the recent launches of the 3 Series, 4 Series, and 1 Series models, the brand now introduces a revised version of the popular M2 Coupé.

The exterior changes of the model are minimal, including only new black emblems, paint options, and 19 and 20-inch alloy wheels. BMW focused on enhancing the strengths of the M2 by increasing the engine power by 20bhp while maintaining the manual transmission option, unlike the 1 Series.

The 3.0-liter biturbo engine of the M2 now generates 473 bhp and 406 lb ft of torque, with improvements in acceleration times from 0 to 100 km/h and 0 to 200 km/h. The automatic version offers a higher torque of 442 lb ft, further reducing the 0 to 100 km/h time.

The optional M Driver’s Package increases the top speed from 250 km/h to 285 km/h. Despite the engine and throttle response improvements, the chassis and mechanics remain unchanged.

Inside, the M2 features a flat-bottom steering wheel available in leather or Alcantara, both heated as standard. The updated infotainment system now includes a shortcut bar and voice commands. Additionally, the standard interior trims are in matte dark graphite, with options for carbon fiber or brushed aluminum.

The new M2 Coupé, already available for purchase, is more affordable than the previous version, with prices starting at $80,000, and the manual transmission is an additional option for $690. Deliveries begin in the fall of 2024.
